Beat purchases and licences

Beats are sold through BeatStars, and each purchase generates a written licence agreement at checkout stating exactly what you can do with the music: streaming caps, videos, distribution and credit requirements. That agreement is the contract that governs your use of the beat, alongside BeatStars’ own terms of sale. Because licences are delivered digitally and instantly, they are not refundable once the files have been downloaded, except where the law requires otherwise.

Commissioned work

Custom projects are governed by the written quote and agreement issued before work begins, which state the deliverables, revision rounds, timeline, fee and the rights you receive on delivery. Nothing on this website overrides an individual project agreement.

Intellectual property

All music, artwork, text and branding on this site belong to Beat Matrix or its licensors and are protected by copyright. A licence to use a beat or score grants exactly the rights written in its agreement and nothing more. Using music from this catalogue without a licence, including in videos, streams, games or public spaces, is copyright infringement.

External links

The site links to external platforms such as BeatStars, streaming services and social networks. Their own terms apply when you use them, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

Accuracy and availability

Prices shown are starting points and the exact fee for custom work is the one stated in your written quote. We may update, suspend or remove parts of the site at any time. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

Changes

If we update these terms, we will change this page and the date at the top. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
