Who we are

Beat Matrix is a music production, composition and publishing studio operating this website at beatmatrix.com. For anything about this policy or your data, contact us at admin [at] beatmatrix [.] com or through the contact page.

What we collect and why

  • Enquiry forms. When you send a brief or question, we receive the details you enter, such as your name, email, project links and message. We use them only to reply and to prepare your quote.
  • Beat purchases. Sales are processed by BeatStars, which handles your payment and generates your licence. We never see or store your card details, and BeatStars’ own privacy policy applies to checkout.
  • Project files. Manuscripts, references, stems and plans you share for a commission are used only to produce your work, are not shared with anyone else, and are deleted on request after the project completes.
  • Cookies and analytics. The site uses cookies required to function and basic analytics to see which pages are useful. Non essential cookies can be declined without losing access.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers. It is handled only by the services that make the studio run: our website host, our email provider, BeatStars for store purchases, and Cloudflare Turnstile for spam protection on the forms.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle them and for a reasonable period afterwards for reference. Project agreements and licences are kept for as long as the rights they document remain in effect.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@beatmatrix.com and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
